pour l'occasion, la troupe à Sébastien et de Manon propose un
répertoire typique emprunté tantôt aux Montagnards Laurentiens,
tantôt à Isidore Soucy ou Don Messer mais aussi aux principaux
joueurs d'accordéons québécois tel Montmarquette et Messervier.
James Allen au call devient un musicien de l'orchestre tant il est bien intégré
et on a parfois l'impression qu'il chante avec la musique tellement son rythme
est excellent. La fille à George Band... superbe exécution pour
une grande veillée de danse....
If you haven't been to a dance lately in Québec, here's your chance
to hear what they're like! Recorded live at a dance evening specifcally organized
for the occasion, this group of musicians proposes not only typcial dance music
from the repertoire of the Montagnards Laurentiens, Isidore Soucy and Don Messer
but also from the main Québécois accordion players including Montmarquette
and Messervier. The caller, James Allen, is an integral part of the band, incorporating
his highly rhythmic dance calling with the music so that it often sounds like
